Jaguar F is my Dream car so basically, it's open top car luxurious sports car

The Jaguar F-Type has been given a major facelift and is now available in India. While some may mourn the loss of Ian Callum’s sensual design, others will mourn the loss of the supercharged V6 motor from the lineup.
  •  The updated F-Type gets new equipment too, which should
  • make it feel as premium as its price tag. 
 The F-Type takes on the very capable Porsche 718 Cayman and         Boxster models. The Price varies from city to city so the below table shows the approx  car price.

The F-Type loses the feline design penned by Ian Callum for a more generic ‘always angry’ design philosophy. 

Sleek headlamps, a new grille, massive air intakes and air vents on the engine cover are part of the new design theme being adopted by all new Jaguar cars. 

Apart from some new upholstery and trim materials, the interior design has been left untouched.

 The most noticeable equipment change is the addition of the 12.3-inch all-digital instrument cluster and the improved touchscreen infotainment system.

  1. The F-Type is available with two powertrains; a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol developing 297bhp/400Nm, a 5.0-liter and V8 supercharged petrol developing in two tunes -  444bhp/580Nm and 567bhp/700Nm.
  2.  The more powerful V8 powers the R variants and is exclusively available with an AWD drivetrain. All engines are paired to a ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic transmission.

  3. F-Type Convertible (2013–present)[edit]

    The convertible version of F-Type was first unveiled at Sundance, London which was followed by a presentation at the 2012  Paris Motorsport and the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed (with a bare chassis).

Suspension    

The F-Type has a double-wishbone front and rear suspension with adaptive dampers and adjustable suspension settings to allow the driver to adjust ride and handling. 
 The car has a total of 25 different driving modes programmed to suit different road conditions and driving styles.

Interior

  • The interior of the F-Type has a two-seater setup with leather upholstery and control buttons finished in aluminium. 
  • There is a touchscreen display in the centre console and another TFT display between the dials in the instrument panel. 
  • There is also a choice of flat-bottom or Alcantara finish for the three-spoke steering wheel and buttons finished in soft-feel matte black.
